The Perky Bitches is a comic book club for ladies started at The Perky Nerd in Burbank in May 2016. We started meeting every other Wednesday to discuss 2 titles a month and chat about all things nerdy. The Perky Bitches was a great way to be social, find lifelong friends, and also support a woman-owned shop.
In 2020, the club moved to online meetings on Zoom led by Tiffany (The Perky Nerd), keeping our Wednesday night tradition twice a month. Meetings are every other Wednesday night at 7pm PST on Zoom.
You can be a Perky Bitch for $30 a month. When you sign up for the month, you will get the 2 books we will be discussing and Zoom links to participate in those book discussions. Sign-ups to join must be done by the 15th of the month to gain membership to the following month. (Example: sign up by May 15th to get June membership.) Shipping options are available at check-out so you can join from anywhere. If you select local pick up, an email will be sent to let you know when the books have arrived and a time and place to pick them up in Burbank, CA.
